Well, I am not one for New Year's resolutions because they seem silly and I like to decide to do things on random days, rather than on Jan. 1. BUT, considering my pathetic blogging history (read: non-existant) over October, November and December, I am going to make a (sort of) resolution. That being, that I will blog more often, aiming for at least twice a week. Maybe Tuesday and Thursday? No promises on that, though. So, anyone else have any environmentally friendly New Year's Resolutions--real or sort-of ones?

EM
I think that's a fantastic sort of New Year's Resolution! And anytime you think of something new to blog about but don't feel like sitting down to do it - write it down! That way you won't forget. :-)
Happy New Year, EM!

"Nothing will benefit human health and increase the chances of survival of life on Earth as much as the evolution to a vegetarian diet"
- Albert Einstein
Have you heard this quote before? I saw it at this great vegetarian restaurant in Austin yesterday and wanted to share! On that note, I have a question for EM as well (yes, more on vegetarianism):
The husband has surprisingly decided to try a vegetarian diet for the next two months (I assume as a partial weight loss and health plan)... however this is also the duration of time we are training for our 2 half-marathons (do two 1/2's equal a full???). Anyway, as I understand it, a large part of his plan is protein smoothies, which I am not against. However, I would love some suggestions for "manly" vegetarian meals (perhaps anything B enjoys?) as well as what you have learned about your diet while doing intense cardio training.
I assume "carb loading" will not be a problem for us... it will be more a protein issue.
Love you! Glad you're back :)
